I don’t know about you, but Taylor Swift’s hair ribbon is feeling 22… feet long, that is! If you thought the coquette era of hair ribbons and bows was over, think again! The (Clara) bow isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s so long, it’s still at the restaurant. (OK, OK, I’ll stop with the lyric references.)
Swift was snapped in New York City looking every bit the bride-to-be in a white minidress, but she accented the mini with black accessories in lieu of springy pastels. One such accessory was her hair ribbon, which she wore tied at the base of her perky ponytail. Instead of a bold or oversized bow with short ribbon ends tucked under the pony, however, Swift leaned into length, with the ribbon trailing all the way down her back almost to her hips. The ribbon itself was pretty simple, just a basic black satin style, but the long length took it from delicate (oops, another lyric) to dramatic. The rest of her look was classic Taylor, with cat-eye liner and an orangey-red lip.

There’s been a lot of speculation about what Swift is doing in New York and whether or not her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce will take place in the city; of course, she has a home there, so it makes sense that she’d be spending time at said home, but as any Swiftie will tell you, it feels like there’s something special going on. It sounds like the wedding is likely to happen in early July, perhaps timed to her favorite holiday, the Fourth of July, which means we’re that much closer to seeing Swift’s bridal beauty details. (Do you think she’s gotten some advice from her BFF Selena Gomez, who tied the knot last year?) Swift the mastermind is always keeping us guessing and dropping subtle hints and Easter eggs, so who knows? Maybe there will be a few ribbons and bows involved in her down-the-aisle glam.
