Whenever I think of Grown Alchemist, I’m instantly transported to JFK airport’s Delta lounge. (I much prefer La Guardia these days, but I digress.) The brand’s hand soaps and lotions are in all of the lounge’s bathrooms (and have even been found inside in-flight amenity kits), and because I travel a lot for work, I feel like I’m always in that lounge, washing and moisturizing my hands.
Now, though, I can experience the luxury of airport lounge hand lotion without even having to cash in some frequent flier miles. That’s because the Grown Alchemist Soothing Hand Cream is in the March Allure Beauty Box.
This hydrating treatment douses dry digits (and palms and cuticles) with nourishing aloe and grape seed oil, plus moisture-locking glycerin and sodium hyaluronate. It also blends and dries down fast and doesn’t leave any sort of tacky finish, which is one of my hand lotion pet peeves—I shouldn’t see it on my keyboard!
I usually use about two dime-size dollops (nickel, if it’s super cold out), and then massage in, making sure to get the tips of my fingers to my wrist bones. Then, because it comes in a chic, easy-to-transport aluminum tube, I’ll toss it in my purse, gym bag, or even in my carry-on!
