Seattle via Italy Painted Vein releases debut LP Dripping Only Black – Backseat Mafia
Painted Vein is the music project of the Italian (resident of Seattle, Washington musician, producer, and audio engineer Andrea Fox Volpato, who has spent the last 10 years brewing the material for his solo project by collaborating in writing, recording, and touring the world with bands from around the globe. Last week he released his debut LP Dripping Only Black on WWNBB and AWAL. From 2017 to 2022 Andrea was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the Italian band New Candys with whom he toured Europe, the UK, Australia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Balkans and opened tours for bands like the Dandy Warhols, Slowdive, Black Angels, and BJM.
