{"id":1612,"date":"2026-05-06T21:48:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sasgai.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/06\/szas-yellow-halo-met-gala-makeup-felt-like-pure-sunshine\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T21:48:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:48:27","slug":"szas-yellow-halo-met-gala-makeup-felt-like-pure-sunshine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sasgai.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/06\/szas-yellow-halo-met-gala-makeup-felt-like-pure-sunshine\/","title":{"rendered":"SZA&#8217;s &#8220;Yellow Halo&#8221; Met Gala Makeup Felt Like Pure Sunshine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a few days, but we&#8217;re still thinking about SZA&#8217;s makeup from the 2026 Met Gala!<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy winner teamed up with makeup artist Sophia Sinot for her Met Gala glam, a radiant combination of marigold yellow, rose, and orchid tones that mimicked the bright golden hue of custom-made Bode gown\u2014a gown that just so happened to be made with upcycled fabric sourced from eBay\u2014and her floral headpiece.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sinot, the inspiration began with a \u201cfeeling of radiance&#8221; given the \u201cincredible sunlight energy\u201d of the dress. \u201cIt felt like she was embodying light, so I wanted the makeup to harmonize with that,\u201d Sinot tells Allure. \u201cThere were many different ideas for makeup, so it became about refining everything down to what felt the most cohesive and true to the overall vision.\u201d She collaborated with SZA&#8217;s hairstylist Devonte Turnbull and stylist Briana Andalore to ensure everything worked beautifully together.<\/p>\n<p>Yellow was a key color for the entire look. \u201cIt was a soft focal point, almost like an inner glow, with fresh skin and touches of pink to bring warmth,\u201d Sinot explains. &#8220;It was definitely the headpiece and the color of the gown that inspired me the most. She defined SZA&#8217;s eyes with Caia Cosmetics Snatched Eyeliner and stacked two pairs of Lilly Lashes (Milan and Miami) for extra drama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, the look never stops at the face,\u201d Sinot adds. \u201cI always make sure the d\u00e9colletage, arms, and legs feel just as hydrated and radiant.\u201d For this, she combined Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Lotion with Vaseline Glazed &amp; Glisten Gel Oil in Golden Hour Glow for a \u201csoft, luxurious sheen\u201d that &#8220;delivers a beautiful glow without feeling sticky or greasy, and it won\u2019t transfer onto clothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a few days, but we&#8217;re still thinking about SZA&#8217;s makeup from the 2026 Met Gala!
